The Talking Magpies

Finding no room at the Magpie Hotel, Mr. and Mrs. Magpie are duped into buying a nest outside the window of a cranky old man and his dopey dog. When the dog can't get the magpies to quiet down, the old man takes matters into his own hands and a battle between bird and man. In the end farmer and dog are out on a limb while the magpies enjoy the comfort of the old man's abode.
