Recycle Electronics at Best Buy

Now, every U.S. Best Buy store will recycle just about any electronic device you have. Every store has free kiosks, just inside the door, for the small things like inkjet cartridges, batteries, cell phones, CDs/DVDs, PDAs, smartphones and Best Buy gift cards.

For TVs, CRTs, monitors and laptops under 32" a $10 fee will apply. Don't worry though, Best Buy doesn't believe in punishing you for doing a good thing, so they will give you a $10 gift card to offset the fee.

For larger things like appliances and TVs and monitors over 32," you can use Best Buy's Haul-away or Pickup programs to have someone come to your house and pick up up to 2 of these items.

If you can buy it at Best Buy, you can recycle it at Best Buy.*

*The only things that are not accepted are items containing freon such as air conditioners, dehumidifiers and mini fridges.
