New Microsoft Virus?
I wouldn't normally post on something like this, but since I was on Microsoft's campus August 16 (although not the building mentioned), it hits close to home. Apparently someone infected with measles was in Microsoft Buildings 40 and 41 on Aug 16-19. I'm vaccinated (twice, I think), so I'm not worried. If you know someone who was on campus, might want to have them checked out.
According to King County Public Health, "Measles spreads easily among susceptible persons and can result in serious infections complicated by pneumonia, encephalitis, seizures, and death. Most King County residents born before 1957 had the disease in childhood and younger persons are routinely vaccinated against measles, both of which provide protection against the disease."
